ShortSmith ("we") is a video assembly and scheduling tool operated by Petr Chocholáč. This policy describes what data ShortSmith handles and why.

What we collect

• Account authorization tokens (OAuth) for the social platforms you explicitly connect (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram). Tokens are stored solely to publish content on your behalf, at your instruction.
• Your media and metadata: the videos, images, audio, captions and scheduling information you provide for assembly and publishing.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
• We do not read, collect, or analyze your social accounts beyond the actions you schedule.
• We do not post anything without your explicit per-video approval.

Storage and deletion

Data is stored only as long as needed to provide the service. You may disconnect any platform at any time, which invalidates its tokens; you may request full deletion of your data at the contact below.

Third-party services

Publishing uses the official APIs of the platforms you connect (YouTube API Services, TikTok for Developers, Meta Platform). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to content once published. Use of YouTube API Services is additionally governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
